HOPEs Train the trainers event

HOPEs project is funded by the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ program KA2 - Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices (Strategic Partnerships for school education). The project was launched in September 2016 with 24 months duration and is implemented in five EU countries (Cyprus , Greece , Ireland, Malta and Portugal).

The Program targets primary school teachers to empower their ability to interact and positively influence students' behavior and abilities. The newly developed innovative educational tool assist in guiding children on issues related to self-knowledge, mental resilience, happiness and positivity. This innovative training tool for teachers is based on the theoretical framework of Positive Psychology and Character Development.

The "Train the Trainers" workshop was held at the premises of Pedagogical Institute on the 18th -22nd of September, 2017, where consortium representatives/trainers present the practical implication of the HOPEs Training Tool. These practices will be also applied during the pilot period with primary teachers, from December 2017 to May 2018, in each member country.

On September 23rd 2017, the third transnational meeting took place in the same venue, where all partners decided on the next stages of the implementation of the Program.
