HOPEs is a program funded by the European Commission under the ERASMUS program +  Key Actions 2- Partnerships for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices (Strategic Partnerships for School Education). The program started in September 2016, lasts 24 months and is implemented in five European countries (Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Malta and Portugal).

The program aims to strengthen the ability of primary school teachers to interact and positively influence students' behavior and abilities. The innovative educational tool created helps guide children on topics related to self-awareness, resilience, happiness and positivity. This new teacher training manual is based on the theoretical framework of Positive Psychology and Character Development.

The "Train the Trainers" seminar was held at the premises of the Pedagogical Institute from 18 to 22 September, 2017, where the representatives/professional consultants of the consortium present the practical importance of the HOPEs training package. These practices will also be implemented by primary school teachers during the pilot period, from December 2017 to May 2018, in each member country.

On September 23, 2017, the third meeting took place in the same place, where all members decided on the next stages of the implementation of the program.
